When You Need Slating and Tiling
Individual tiles sliding down the pitch or missing entirely after a storm. Flaking, crumbling, or spalling clay tiles losing their protective glaze. Nail sickness causing natural slates to slip out of alignment. Mortar failing around ridge tiles and dry verges.
How We Do It
Assess the extent of tile or slate damage and check batten condition. Remove damaged units carefully without disturbing neighboring sound tiles. Replace damaged timber battens and rusted fixing nails where necessary. Nail or clip new slates and tiles securely into position with correct overlaps.
What to Expect
Tile replacements take a few hours, while full re-tiling projects take 3 to 5 days.
